General Information:

On Saturday June 10, 2000, The Houma Elks Lodge with Marine Roy Neal as their Exalted Ruler held its Flag Day Ceremony at the Courthouse in Downtown Houma.  This event went well with our Marine Corps League lowering the Old Flag and the Raising of the New Flag.  After the Ceremony, The Elks hosted a hot dog and soft drink party at their Lodge on Main Street.  It was indeed a very nice day and ceremony.  Thanks to all who attended and mad this event a success.

Sick and in Distress:

Marine Sammy Daigle’s wife is home recovering from a recent surgery and doing well.

Madam President, Darlene Dupre at the time of this newsletter is in the hospital for an Angiogram.

Lets keep them in our Thoughts and Prayers and wish them well.
